Taking a deep dive on weathering plastic parts, here we introduce an assortment of aged parts for fans of the ’50s ST style.
Generically plastic tends to turn yellow over time, but bakelite can keep its original colour with dirt accumulated around PU brim or parting line in injection molding. By contrast, bakelite is easy to get cracked due to its firm texture.
Each and every piece has manually been aged. A proficient craftsman at the factory ages them one at a time manually with care giving each a unique look. We paid close attention to the exact colour. The arm tip is reliced to look like it got rounded in years of playing. We tried our best to get the vintage look and feel just right.
